Not Much to say...

I can't believe I blogged two weeks ago. I feel like I was just sitting here writing about being 28 weeks. The first of January always used to go by so slow for me. I was a little down about the holidays being over and it just seemed like time creeped by. Not anymore! Life is flying by and I can barely keep up.

I got a stomach bug last week which knocked me out of commission for the rest of the week. The bug itself was only with me for about 18 hours but it did a number on my energy. Plus we had been exposed to it (a friend let me know they had it) Sunday night so I put Ayda and I on isolation for a few days so we didn't share with anyone else. Glad I did since I ended up getting it. Then we staying on isolation till friday when some sweet friends of ours said it was fine to come over for a play date! We broke out as quick as we could! I'm glad the baby seemed oblivious to the whole thing. I'll spare the details but it was brutal!

Ayda and I are heading to ATL this week for one last trip before Baby Lin arrives. I am excited to see some friends while we are there. I'm excited to get up there and chill. I will miss Kevin since we will be gone 10 days! He is already arranging his social life so he is well entertained while his girls are gone. haha!

Well that is pretty much it. No pictures. It is so hard to get a good picture of Ayda these days. Either she is on the move or her eyes are closed. We're working on it! Hopefully we'll get some good ones in ATL.

28 Weeks

Well I am officially in my third trimester. I am not exactly sure how that happened but here we are!! I can't believe this is the home stretch. Baby Lin will be here so soon...and there is still so much to do! I will not get stressed though, really. Hmm...

Morning Sickness: I've actually noticed I have been more icky feeling in the mornings again lately. It is very mild and goes away by lunch but it's there. Weird!
Cravings: The Chickfila kick has stuck this month. I love the grilled chicken sandwich. Otherwise I have not really had any real cravings. I definitely have a huge aversion to seafood. The smell of it makes me sick!
Movements: This baby is crazy active. I get a lot of pretty hard punches throughout the day. I also cannot figure out what position the baby is in. I'll feel something low, then to the left and then to the right. He/she is definitely occupying all the space in there I believe. And he/she likes to roll. It is the weirdest feeling!
Energy: I have noticed my energy ever so slowly dwindling again. It's so hard to get through the day without a nap. Part of the problem is I am not sleeping good at night. Up a lot to go to the bathroom and sometimes I just can't get comfortable. But I can't complain too much because I still keeping up with Ayda fine and getting my tasks done. The holidays probably had something to do with my lack of energy this month as well!
Clothing: Nothing new here.
What I miss: There is a hot dog place down the road from us and I have wanted one for a couple weeks. I believe I will be sending Kevin to get us one after the baby is born!!!

Overall this month has been good. I have fought more heart burn and back aches but it's not everyday. It seems to come and go. I have my glucose test this week so I'll be glad to get that over with. Fortunately my midwife does a special diet the morning of the test instead of the drink. So it really should not be too bad. I am just afraid I'll eat the wrong amount of something and mess up the results of the test. That would stink!
