Moving along

Well we are 25 weeks! I am feeling great still and enjoying pregnancy...finally! Our little one is definitely getting bigger...the kicks are getting stronger! It is fun to sit and watch him/her move around. Baby got the hiccups the other day and really got active. Don't think he/she liked them too much...neither do I! It is interesting for me to visualize the baby now too. Doing what I do in the NICU I have actually taken care of a 25 week preemie...6o0 grams. I certainly don't want ours to come out anytime soon but I can picture what the baby's size is. It's kinda neat in it's twisted way!
Kevin is doing great. He made it through a HUGE test a few weeks ago and mid-terms. He made a trip to Charlotte NC last week to investigate an organization that helps you set up your practice. He got a lot of insight and was glad he went. We are rapidly approaching his next two sets of boards. Say a prayer for him as he is studying for that. Sept 12 and 13 are the big days! He also is running a 10k on Labor Day. He has really trained and done a great job getting ready for it. Though he thinks he will need to stop by a hospital (that says a lot being a Chiropractor) on the way home... I know he will do GREAT! I will be out there cheering!
So all in all we are doing wonderful! Counting our blessings and praying for the upcoming events that will bring this year to an end rather quickly. More later...I'll have pics of the race after Monday!

Visit with Granparents and Family

Kevin and I drove up to Raleigh this weekend to spend some quality time with my grandparents and family. We weren't able to stay as long as we would have liked but the time was well worth it. We enjoyed sitting and talking to Grandma and Grandpa. We also got to see my Aunt and Uncle and five cousins.


Kevin and I needed a good updated picture of us and our little one. I'm showing more and more and it's fun!

The two pregnant Cousins! Alli and I are only a few weeks apart and now we are having babies a few months apart! She is due in a few weeks! Her baby boy will make Great Grandchild 4 and our little one will make number 5!!! Grandma and Grandpa are super excited!
